This article gives background information from when marijuana was legal and the different ways we could use it today in our modern society if it were to become legal again. It outlines the three main uses for the plant which are environmental, economical and of course, medical.
The article "Why and how legalizing marijuana could greatly help stimulate the economy" gives a well developed arguement of the economic benefits legalizing marijuana would bring to the country. It lists different consumer consumptions of weed such as bio fuel, clothing, paper, or even a canvas. It gives points that having more marijuana plantations will help clean the air, and overall be more environmentally frendly. It also gives an arguement comparing marijuana to alchohol and how alchohol's disadvantages outweigh marijuana's. The key point of this article is the amount of money legalized weed would actually bring into the econmoy. The estimated income is 6.2 billion dollars annually.

That marijuana will become legal again throughout the fifty states. The weed will be used from anything to fuel, food, and medicine. Each state will be able to put its own regulations on the product without making the plant unatainable. The FDA will be responsible in dealing with concerns and regulations.

I think this solution will work because: (You must use factual information to prove your solution will work) According the information gathered from the articles I have researched There will be thousands of jobs created, not only in the medical field or in the fields or plantaions, but in manufacturing as well. Productivity and consumption will grow. Not only will America's consumers be spending on marijuana but on other products as well. More jobs equals more Americans earning and spending money, more tax money, and overall a better flowing cycle of supply and demand and consumption. Specific people with certain illnesses or conditions will be able to have less painfull medications and with less side effects. Yes marijuana has long term side effects but so does Tylenol. Our grandparents, and great grandparents used this plant for cures and there were many less illnesses and cancers in their time. Now I am not trying to say Marijuana will get us out of debt but it will slowly be helping to reduce it, after all the plant consumption alone will bring in 6.2 billion dollars annually into the country. Plus there are all the other forms in which it will bring in money,and earn us. After this weed becomes legal drug dealers will have no need to try to sneek this product, which means less money is being wasted trying to catch, arrest, and imprison these people, or the users. Do not make marijuana a free for all product. It is much more beneficial and less dangerous than alcohol and that is being sold in almost every market and gas station; but it has regulations and restrictions on it. Such restrictions would be that the person buying the product for personal use should be atleast of the age of eighteen. The tax on the marijuana should be the same as the tax on the alchohol in the state, and the plant shall be grown outdoors with no artificial lighting or added chemicals. Any person is allowed to have the quantity of marijuana as the wish, and a marijuana medication shall be avilable to any patient who might benefit from it.Alcohol also has medicinal purposes and is used in foods we consume, so why not do the same with marijuana, there is no reason not to. Plus once marijuana is legalized it will open the door for industrial hemp giving us a whole new world of resource options, only contributing further to the economy.After all after all the proven arguements made for the legalization of marijuana it is very hard for those who are apposed to find a new reason that can not be answered for not legalizing it.
